Job Description:
· Ensure the Integration environments are supported and maintained, including installation, configuration, patching, database maintenance (in conjunction with DBA’s) and monitoring of the Integration environment.
· Ensure the Integration environments are tuned to gain optimal performance and availability.
· Develop and manage the execution of assigned work to improve the quality, reliability, flexibility, and performance of the current Link Group systems.
· Adhere to ITIL methodologies and processes to deliver business outcomes.
· Work to achieve established service levels to meet assigned deadlines.
· Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within the team and other Service Support Teams.
· Adhere to published processes and procedures and recommend enhancements where appropriate.
· Provide estimates for operational activities prior to work being undertaken.
· Ensure that adequate post verification testing (PVT) is performed when implementing change.
· Setup load balancing, clustering, and failover for the Integration environments.
· Develop automation tools for Password Management, Monitoring, Configuration and Deployment.
· Maintain and document version control and code base change.
· Execute requests for change and other tasks relating to software migration.
· Work with various external clients to provide the highest quality of service reflecting Link Group values.
· Develop support documentation and train team members.
· Design reports and metrics to measure the effectiveness of Integration systems.
· Participate in an On-call Roster as well as being available 24/7 to support the team in the event of Major Incidents.
· Adherence to all Link Group standards, policies, and procedures.
· Demonstrating professional and ethical behavior, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and internal operating policies and procedures at all times.
· Understanding the complexity of Link Group’s IT Environment.
· Ability to quickly build strong business relationships with key stakeholders in a complex and changing work environment.
· Ability to produce high quality work under tight time restrictions.
· Whilst this role does not have any direct reports, this position is required to coach, mentor and train people from all Teams across the organization.
