Sr Manager Business Development

As a Sr Manager Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our organization. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and developing strategies to expand our market presence. This role requires a deep understanding of the IT services industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
    • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through various channels such as networking, cold calling, and industry events.
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers within target organizations.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
    • Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients.

  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination:
    • Work closely with internal teams, including technical, project management, and delivery teams, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute campaigns that drive lead generation and brand awareness.

  • Negotiation & Closing:
    • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and terms of agreements with clients.
    • Close deals by addressing client concerns, managing objections, and demonstrating the value of our IT services.

  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Track and report on key sales metrics, including pipeline status, revenue forecasts, and conversion rates.
    • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.


Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the IT services industry.
    • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Deep understanding of IT services, including software development, IT consulting, and managed services.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives.
    • Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
    • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
