Develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, and Custom App Development.
Design, develop, and implement business logic using JavaScript, GlideScript, and ServiceNow scripting tools.
Customize forms, fields, and UI components, including UI pages, UI macros, and Service Portals.
Integration & Automation:
Integrate ServiceNow with external applications, databases, and systems using REST, SOAP, and other integration technologies.
Develop and implement automated workflows and approval processes using ServiceNow’s Flow Designer and Workflow.
Leverage ServiceNow orchestration to automate IT operations and business processes.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Conduct unit testing and ensure that developed applications meet business requirements and perform according to standards.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize ServiceNow applications.
Collaborate with business users to ensure proper functionality and usability.
Collaboration & Documentation:
Work closely with business analysts, system architects, and other developers to gather requirements and develop solutions.
Create and maintain detailed documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations.
Assist in the development of user guides and training materials for ServiceNow users.
Platform Maintenance:
Stay current with ServiceNow updates and enhancements, ensuring that solutions remain up to date with new platform features and capabilities.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing ServiceNow applications.
Perform platform health checks, troubleshooting, and address performance issues.
Security and Compliance:
Ensure that ServiceNow applications comply with security policies and regulatory standards.
Implement and enforce role-based access control (RBAC) and security best practices on the ServiceNow platform.
Qualifications:
Experience:
3+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, with a strong understanding of ServiceNow’s capabilities, architecture, and modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps).
Experience in creating and managing custom applications within the ServiceNow platform.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, GlideScript, and ServiceNow’s server-side and client-side scripting tools.
Certifications:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is a plus.
ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, especially in ITSM (Incident, Change, Problem Management), and how they are implemented in ServiceNow.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development tools such as Studio, Service Portal, Flow Designer, and Workflow.
Experience with integrations using SOAP, REST, and other integration technologies.
Familiarity with ServiceNow’s security framework and access control features.
