Job Overview:

As an SFCC Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing e-commerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, user-friendly, and scalable online shopping experiences for our customers. This role requires strong expertise in SFCC, as well as a solid understanding of web technologies, development best practices, and agile workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development & Customization: Design and develop custom features, enhancements, and integrations using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).
• SFRA (Salesforce Reference Architecture): Develop and implement solutions leveraging SFRA templates and JavaScript controllers to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
• Integration: Integrate SFCC with third-party systems such as payment gateways, inventory management, CRM systems, and other backend platforms.
• E-commerce Solutions: Build and maintain custom cartridges, extend the functionality of the SFCC platform, and optimize the user experience across multiple devices.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization: Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and functional challenges within SFCC environments.
• Code Quality & Best Practices: Follow best practices for coding, testing, and deployment in a collaborative, Agile environment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and designers to implement and deliver e-commerce solutions.
• Customer Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing SFCC-based websites.
• Documentation: Write and maintain clear, concise technical documentation for code, workflows, and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud development, with hands-on experience in building, customizing, and maintaining SFCC-based websites.
• SFCC Expertise: Proficiency with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) platform, including experience with:
  • SiteGenesis or SFRA frameworks
  • ISML, JavaScript, and controller development
  • Cartridges and pipeline-based development
• Web Development Skills: Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX. Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.
• E-commerce Knowledge: Understanding of e-commerce principles, user experience (UX) design, and best practices.
• API Integration: Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and integrating third-party services.
• Version Control & CI/CD: Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, or other version control and continuous integration tools.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce Certifications: Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer certification (preferred).
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, especially Salesforce-related cloud services.
• E-commerce Design Patterns: Knowledge of common e-commerce design patterns and best practices for large-scale websites.
• Performance Optimization: Experience in performance tuning, load balancing, and scalability optimization for e-commerce platforms.
