On-Demand TV viewing experience for soccer lovers


The client, a soccer game organizer, was looking to build an app to offer fans a unique experience to watch a live match from any location. They are a renowned global leader in sports, events and operate in more than 30 countries. Like the niche competitors, the client was initially only telecasting soccer games using conventional techniques such as television and was experiencing low viewer retention and low engagement.


Our scope was to deliver a cross-platform app. Our business analysts partnered with the client to share the proposal in order to estimate the work hours and define the overall costs. We assigned a team of developers & QA to deliver the work within the agreed timeline. The project was completed using a Hybrid Agile Model.


Seeking to reach more viewers and come ahead of the competitors, the client decided to build a mobile app for live telecast of matches on user demand. The launch of the On-Demand TV App brought considerable advantages for the client’s business. It resulted in higher conversion rate, business productivity, ROI and user engagement. A boost of 30% viewership was recorded, all with low maintenance cost. There were additional benefits such as improved customer communications, enhanced collection of customer insights, and increase in business productivity as well.
