Website and mobile application for facilitating online delivery of medicines and healthcare products in Delhi/NCR.
Objective
The client was looking to build an e-commerce website for online delivery of medicines, healthcare products, and over-the-counter items all across Delhi and NCR. They also wanted mobile applications for both, Android and iOS platforms to give their online pharmacy the mobility advantage.
Approach
Our approach with this solution was to provide an omnichannel experience to the customers across the web and mobile channel. We decided on creating a responsive e-commerce store that renders seamlessly across both the channels. Additionally, we took up the task of creating native apps for both Android and iOS platforms to create a comprehensive mobile experience for the users.
Challenge
Since the product catalog was extensive and the selling requirements were complex, there was a need to use a feature-rich platform to build the store. There was a need to make the site responsive as well as have a robust search functionality so that the user could easily find the relevant product amongst the thousands of products showcased.
Outcome
The client was able to deliver consistent user experiences for both the channels. Since the website and apps are well optimized to attract and handle high traffic volumes and deliver high-performance checkout experiences, they gave a big boost to the client’s business. The overall outcome was witnessed as follows:
- 40% conversion rate for the website
- 20% conversion rate for the mobile apps
- 40% increase in sales over the first quarter
