Every year, the two-wheeler manufacturer Hero performs hundreds of audits to keep tabs on its dealers. It is a complex process which needs lots of manual work and operational cost. They were looking to digitize the whole Audit process of the supply chain and manufacturing processes. The team therefore started to look for a technology partner for app development. It was clear to the Hero that the existing audit process required digital optimization. Not only did the dealer audits involve a great deal of work and operational cost, but the manual data sharing process also made them error prone. They wanted to get an app to simplify dealer stock management, sales and purchase work from the backend systems. As there was not always a strong internet connectivity present in the dealer area, the solution also had to responsive with low connectivity.

The Audit App is based on an in-depth analysis of existing audit methods and uses intuitive touchscreen tablets to simplify data entry. It even has a handwriting recognition function to study the auditors’ notes. The auditing process is fully integrated into Hero’s business systems, thus ensuring the digitization of the whole process.
