The company sold camping gear, trekking essentials, and outdoor equipment. Their Shopify store was performing well, but managing the backend was getting increasingly complicated. Inventory updates from two warehouses often didn’t match what customers saw online, order processing took longer than expected, and customer communication lacked personalization because all data lived in different tools.
They needed Shopify, CRM, and ERP to work together instead of separately. Our eCommerce integration services team stepped in to connect everything end-to-end using HubSpot CRM for customer engagement and Odoo ERP for inventory, finance, and fulfilment, giving the team a more organized system to grow with.

Shopify API Integration
We broke the project into clear steps so nothing disrupted their daily orders or warehouse operations.
Before touching any systems, we sat with their team to understand how things worked behind the scenes. They needed clean stock syncs across both warehouses, better segmentation for marketing, fewer manual fulfilment tasks, and a simple way for customer support to view full order histories.
Once we had the full picture, we mapped how orders, customers, inventory updates, returns, and edits would flow among Shopify, HubSpot, and Odoo. That became the blueprint for everything that followed.
Their customer list had years of duplicate entries and incomplete records, so we cleaned it up before syncing anything to HubSpot. Once HubSpot was ready, we set up useful segments, campers, trekkers, first-time buyers, bulk purchasers, and built basic automation like reorder reminders and welcome flows.
From there, Shopify and HubSpot synced in real time. Every new order, abandoned cart, signup, and profile change showed up instantly in HubSpot, making the marketing team’s work a lot easier.
We then connected Odoo ERP to Shopify to stabilize operations. We synced inventory in real time; automated order creation in Odoo; mapped GST/tax rules; connected multi-warehouse stock; and ensured returns and cancellations updated Shopify instantly.
Odoo became the single source of truth for stock, accounts, and vendor management, removing the brand’s biggest operational pain points.
We tested integrations across real scenarios: multi-warehouse stock updates, high-volume order pushes, partial fulfilments, cancellations, edited orders, and returns. We validate HubSpot timelines, Odoo accounting entries, and Shopify development services updates for every workflow.
Once everything behaved reliably, we launched without interrupting customer orders or fulfilment.
Before integration, the brand spent too much time manually checking warehouse stock, updating orders, and coordinating customer communication across disconnected tools. Inventory mismatches caused cancelled orders, and generic emails led to weak engagement. They needed a unified setup where Shopify, HubSpot, and Odoo worked together to support both front-end customer experience and backend operations.
ach warehouse updated stock at different times. We built strict syncing rules between Shopify and Odoo to ensure customers always saw correct quantities.
Duplicate profiles and incomplete customer histories made segmentation unreliable. We cleaned and merged data so HubSpot could run clean automations.
Real-time Odoo sync dramatically reduced overselling and incorrect stock displays.
HubSpot-powered segments and automations delivered far higher engagement.
Warehouse teams received correct, real-time order data from Shopify → Odoo.
HubSpot gave the support team complete order visibility, easing customer conversations.
Odoo automated financial entries and improved backend reporting.
Clearer Odoo dashboards helped the team stock up before peaking outdoor demand.
Integrating Shopify with HubSpot CRM and Odoo ERP gave the outdoor adventure brand a stable, scalable system for both customer engagement and operations. Marketing became smarter, fulfilment became faster, and the team gained real visibility into stock, sales, and customer behavior.
The brand now runs with far less manual effort and is better prepared for seasonal spikes and long-term growth.
