Our client, is an entertainment service provider, needed an in-house tablet app to engage customers with personalized services. They need a tablet app to help walk-in customers go through the new movie release, schedules, food options, discount offers, ticket booking and many more features. The application has been used by PVR for giving customers a virtual feel of sitting options to make smart selection. OrangeMantra was the right fit for building tablet app to improve the level of services for growth of customer base.
The client wanted us to create a unique tablet entertainment app. The application must provide a way for customers to stay connected to PVR diverse range of services. Also, the client was very particular about concepts matching their branding. The existing ticket booking platform was manual and customers have to wait for their turn. The existing process was not effective and lacked a good user experience. The legacy back end was slow and limited in capabilities. Gathering customer data was a real pain and needed an engaging interface to keep customer hooked.
Our goal was to have an interactive UI for the application that worked seamlessly without really compromising the end-user experience. So, we worked on UI/UX of tablet app and provided concepts which then later engaged customers. With the solution, PVR was able to seamlessly manage the end to end process of theatre management, ticketing fulfillment, and other services. All user data, received by the tablet app is sent further to the web-based administration panel. OrangeMantra implemented latest features to automatically transform the gathered data into easy-on-the-eyes graphs.
The developed tablet app not only helps to drive the sales number, but also provides them with crucial information about their clients’ preferences. This allows them to plan out better services with ROI in mind. The recommendations from the application successfully determined which were the right services, features to best serve customer needs. Another crucial outcome of the solution was the improved ability to grow customer base and retain them into the regular movie watching experience.
